The Knitwear Care Guide

Crafted from premium natural fibers, our knitwear is designed for durability and does not require washing after every wear. Thoughtful, minimal washing extends the life of your pieces and helps reduce water and energy consumption.

1. Washing

Before cleaning, gently turn the garment inside out. Hand wash in lukewarm water—no hotter than 40°C—for about 10 minutes.

  • Use a special wool or cashmere detergent for delicate fibers.
  • For linen, cotton, or silk, opt for a gentle, low-chemical detergent.
Avoid soaking for long periods or wringing the fabric, as these can cause damage or loss of softness.

2. Drying

We strongly advise against using a tumble dryer, as the heat and agitation can deform or shrink your garment.
To remove excess moisture, roll the item in a clean towel and press down softly. Then lay it flat on a dry surface and allow it to air dry at room temperature. Keep it out of direct sunlight to prevent fading and fiber weakening.

3. Ironing

Avoid placing the iron directly on your knitwear. Instead, use a steam iron held an inch away from the surface to release creases.
This technique is also great for refreshing your item between wears without a full wash. If necessary, use a pressing cloth for extra protection when steaming or ironing delicate fibers.

4. Storing

To maintain the natural shape and drape of your knitwear, always fold rather than hang it. Hanging may stretch the fabric over time.
For seasonal storage, especially with cashmere and wool items:

  • Use breathable fabric bags to protect your pieces.
  • Add natural moth deterrents like cedarwood or lavender sachets to prevent damage while preserving freshness.
